The Arkansas Access to Justice Commission's mission is to ensure that all Arkansans have access to the civil justice system. Its sister nonprofit organization, the Arkansas Access to Justice Foundation, generates financial resources to support the work of the Commission, as well as our state's two civil legal aid providers: the Center for Arkansas Legal Services and Legal Aid of Arkansas. Together, they accomplish this through policy initiatives, resource development efforts, education and outreach in order to promote equal access to justice.
Arkansas Access to Justice does not provide direct legal services or perform direct referrals of pro bono attorneys; this is accomplished through the Center for Arkansas Legal Services and Legal Aid of Arkansas. If you have a legal issue and need advice, visit our "Need Help?" page. If you are an attorney wishing to volunteer to take pro bono cases through legal aid, visit our "Volunteer" page to find out more. If you are an attorney or bank needing more information about the IOLTA Program, please visit our "IOLTA Program page."
