George Shelton is Senior Director for Campaign Management at Wal-Mart Stores, Inc.  George oversees projects related to reputation and issues management, grassroots advocacy and message development.

Before joining Wal-Mart, George was a partner at the Strother-Duffy-Shelton public affairs and advertising group in Washington, D.C.  In this position, George developed communications campaigns advocating candidates and causes that would bring opportunity to underserved communities.  George began his career working for Larry King at CNN.  He was a political appointee to the White House during the Clinton Administration.

He is a graduate of the University of California, San Diego, with a Bachelor of Arts in Television and Film.  George, his wife Gina, their daughter Katie, and son Carrick, reside in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
