The 2007 Statewide Conference of Legal Service Providers
The Statewide Conference of Legal Service Providers was held in Little Rock from October 17 - 19.

The conference theme was "Forging the Road to Civil Justice." This theme was also the title of the 2005 and 2006 joint annual reports of CALS and LAA and is the same theme used in marketing the Pro Bono Partnership. The Arkansas Access to Justice Commission has also utilized this theme to advance their recommendations before the 2007 General Assembly. Most importantly, it speaks to the work legal services staff do every day for people throughout Arkansas.

The conference was well attended with 75 attendees learning and networking together. There were three session tracks with CLE sessions that covered a wide range of topics focused on poverty law representation including legislative updates. 

The Arkansas Legal Services Partnership would like to thank all the trainers who helped make this conference a success.
